The Faculty - Sarah Churcher

Sarah Churcher is a proud graduate from Bird College in London and has a wealth of performing experience over a great many years! Having re-trained as a lawyer and worked in the financial sector for over 15 years Sarah has now returned to what she loves doing best and is teaching singing, speech and drama in a number of educational establishments and from her home in the Yorkshire Dales. She has led choirs for adults and children across the Yorkshire area and is proud to be part of the amazing NDC family, teaching Drama and Musical Theatre every Saturday.
Sarah firmly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to find their voice and enjoy singing and says “I am so passionate about Musical Theatre, it is such an integral part of my life and having the opportunity to teach classes is an absolute joy. Musical Theatre is a culmination of so many disciplines and art forms and the joy of working with an ensemble to create a piece of musical magic is exhilarating. The camaraderie and collaboration I see in my classes is just wonderful and, my goodness, there is so much talent at NDC, it makes for an exciting Saturday!”
