Antoinette Brooks-Daw retired from a 14 year career with Northern Ballet at the end of 2021, reaching Premier Dancer and touring extensively with the company throughout the UK and overseas. She trained for 9 years with The Royal Ballet Lower & Upper School before moving to Leeds to join NB. Since retiring she has completed a Pilates Instructor Training course, and is now a fully certified Level 5 Romana’s Pilates Teacher. She currently works at the Pure Pilates studio in Ilkley and teaches ballet to adults and children. She is excited and keen to keep learning and progressing with teaching and feels very lucky to have the opportunity to see how much people enjoy expressing themselves through movement and just having fun – which is the most important part!
